State Regulated Education and Care Services Transition Support Project

State Regulated Educated and Care Services Transition Support Project

CCSA has been contracted by the Department of Education to support State Regulated Early Childhood Services (SRECS), also known as out-of-scope services, in transitioning to the new legislation governing Mobile Early Childhood Services and Occasional Education and Care Services. The Children (Education and Care Services) Supplementary Provisions Regulation 2019 became law on 27th May 2019.

The new legislation further aligns the State-regulated services with the national system, including the National Regulation and National Quality Standard.

CCSA will be providing a number of support strategies, including introductory workshops on the new legislation (The governing Act and Regulation) and the assessment and ratings processes, including developing a Quality Improvement Plan.

This support is provided by the Department of Education as part of the Early Childhood Education Sector Support Program.
