Chief Executive Officer
Meg joined CCSA in May 2014. Meg has a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and has worked in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector for over 25 years, with direct service delivery experience in Long day Care, Multipurpose Centres, Preschools and Mobile Children’s Services as an Early Childhood Teacher and Director. Meg also has extensive experience in governance and management having held various executive positions on State and National boards. As CEO, Meg is responsible for leading the organisation, implementing the Strategic Plan and advocating for members services. Meg is a participant on steering committees, forums, and reference groups working with government departments at all levels and other peak organisations on the development of regulations, policy and funding models for early childhood services.
Services Development Manager
Ian has a B. Ed. M. Comm. (Employment Relations) and is currently a PhD Candidate. Ian Joined CCSA in 2009 and has over 35 years experience in children’s services and has held positions of teacher, Director and CEO, across many different service types and organisations. In his current role, Ian instigates and co-ordinates the development and delivery of projects, consultancies and new business opportunities. He provides organisational support for early childhood business operations, governance, management, workplace relations and professional practice.
Amanda joined CCSA in 2011, having previously worked as receptionist, administrator, travel and training coordinator and personal assistant. In her current role, Amanda assists the General Manager and the Senior Management team as well as supporting the Membership and Business Solutions teams. Amanda is responsible for the administration of projects funded by the Department of Education, and is the first point of contact for all our members.
Michelle joined CCSA in 2018. She has a Bachelor of Design (Graphic) and is a marketing specialist. Michelle has worked in Marketing for over 15 years, having been the head of design for Westminster City Council for two years, and has extensive marketing campaign experience for corporate and small businesses. Michelle is responsible for developing and implementing CCSA’s communication strategy, including social media strategy and implementation, website updates, producing marketing materials and upkeep of the CCSA brand.
Member Support Officer
Kathy has extensive experience in Member Support, having commenced with CCSA in 2001. She has been an administration assistant, and along with her member support role, she has been a conference organiser, database manager and website contributor. Kathy knows CCSA’s members well and understands the unique environment that early childhood services must operate within.
Business Solutions Manager
Devina has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Administration) and a Bachelor of Arts (Geography with Honours). Devina joined CCSA in 2008, having previously worked in various bookkeeping positions, including working as a Finance Manger in Sudan and Papua New Guinea for a non government aid organisation. As Business Solutions Manager, Devina plans and manages the workload of the team, liaises with new clients, and develops systems, processes and procedures to improve the delivery of our services to clients.
Lorraine has an Advanced Diploma of Business (Accounting) and is a BAS Agent. Lorraine joined CCSA in 2012. Prior to this Lorraine worked as a small business bookkeeper in the construction industry. Lorraine’s duties include bookkeeping, payroll processing, BAS preparation and superannuation reporting.
Andrew is a CPA qualified accountant, holding a Bachelor in Business (Accounting) and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Prior to working at CCSA, Andrew has worked in various industries in senior Finance roles. Andrew joined CCSA in September 2018. In his current role, Andrew is responsible for payroll processing, reconciliation of accounts, preparation of monthly accounts and the preparation and lodgement of BAS reports.
Kirra joined CCSA in February 2019. Kirra worked for many years as a Veterinary Nurse both in surgery and in administration. Since having children, Kirra has been studying Bookkeeping and Accounting online, and is enjoying the challenges involved with such a dramatic change in careers. Kirra is currently President of a childcare service management committee, and says that “for me, CCSA encompasses two big, bold and new facets of my life, children and accounting!” Kirra is responsible for the payroll processing, bill processing and preparation of monthly accounts for Business Solutions Clients.
Ilona joined CCSA in February 2019. Ilona has a background working in legal firms and as a property manager, and comes with over 30 years of administration background. Ilona is a Justice of the Peace and has lived in the Blue Mountains for over 30 years. Ilona has previously had bookkeeping experience in bill payments and invoicing, and has done bookkeeping and BAS for her own business. Iona is responsible for the payroll processing, bill processing and preparation of monthly accounts for Business Solutions Clients.
Joanne has a background in office administration, accounts payable/receivable and bookkeeping in the health services industry. Joanne joined CCSA in 2017, and her responsibilities include superannuation, bill payments, bookkeeping and payroll. Joanne holds a Certificate IV in Accounting.
Sector Support Project Manager
Lorraine worked for CCSA in 2015 and re-joined in 2016. Lorraine holds a BA (Leisure Studies), Diploma of Community Services (Children’s Services) and Cert IV TAE. Lorraine has worked in the Early Education field for over 25 years in a range of capacities from direct service provision to management and training roles. Lorraine manages CCSA’s Sector Support Team and also directly works with a range of Early Childhood service types, promoting sustainability and quality.
Gloria has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching, Diploma of Children’s Services, and Diploma in Management. Gloria joined CCSA in 2015 with 20 years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, including long day care, facilitating playgroups and most recently as a Director of a community preschool. Gloria’s work with CCSA includes supporting early childhood education services with business and financial planning, policy review and mentoring Directors.
John holds a Bachelor of Science and Graduate Diploma in Defence Studies, as well as being a graduate of the Australian Army Command and Staff College. John joined CCSA in 2011, after 24 years as an Army Officer and then working as a Business/Operations manager in various not-for-profit organisations from 2005. John is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of CCSA, including financial management, human resources and industrial relations, and overseeing the operations of Business Solutions and Member Support teams. John also undertakes training and consultancies, and represents our members in the Fair Work Commission.
Member Support Manager
Helena joined CCSA as a Member Support Officer in 2005. Helena has a Bachelor of Arts (Australasian politics and modern European history), and has previous experience in accounting and as a volunteer family day care and out of school hours care committee member. In 2018 Helena moved to the role of Member Support Manager. In this role she is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to the Member Support team who provide innovative and sustainable information in various formats to member services of CCSA.
Debbie joined CCSA in 2016. Debbie has a Business Administration Cert III and previously worked for RailCorp providing support to field staff and management, and in casual administration positions in the public school system. Debbie has experience in general office management, procurement support, records management etc. Debbie provides administration support to the CCSA Operations Manager and the Sector Support Project, as well as well as undertaking general office duties for the CCSA office.
Shauna has a Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma in Personnel Management. Shauna joined CCSA in 2006, with a background in Human Resources Management and policy development in the NSW public sector. Shauna is responsible for the development and maintenance of the CCSA website, and for preparing communication and resources for our members.
Member Support Officer
Mark joined CCSA in 2016. After a 20 year career in the State Public Service, Mark chose a new path and began working in early education and care in the Illawarra Region and then in the Coordination Unit of a family day care scheme in the Blue Mountains. Mark has a comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and legislative requirements for early childhood education and care and is pleased to be able to continue supporting services, children and families in his role as a Member Support Officer.
Samantha holds a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and is a registered BAS Agent. Samantha joined CCSA in 2016 with a background in hospitality and hotel management. Samantha is responsible for payroll processing, superannuation, bookkeeping, bill payments, BAS preparation and submissions, and preparation of financials for a group of member services.
Theresa joined CCSA in 2009. Theresa has a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Accounting) and is a BAS Agent. Prior to working at CCSA Theresa held positions as a Project Contracts Administrator and small business bookkeeper. In her current role, Theresa is responsible for payroll processing, reconciliation of accounts, preparation of monthly accounts and the preparation and lodgement of BAS reports.
Andrew joined the CCSA Business Solutions team as an Accounts Clerk in 2018. Andrew has previously worked in the security industry, and as a forklift driver in warehousing, before returning to study and completing his Certificate IV in bookkeeping. Andrew’s responsibilities include processing superannuation, bill payments, bookkeeping and payroll
Candie has a Certificate IV in Business Administration, and is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Business Accounting. Candie joined CCSA in 2015 with a background in sales and events management, and also has experience in staff rostering and payroll administration. Candie’s role in the Business Solutions team is payroll processing, superannuation and reconciliation of accounts.
Business Solutions Administration Officer
Wendy joined CCSA in 2011 with a background in administration and accounts payable. Wendy’s role is to support the Business Solutions team by undertaking the full range of administration tasks, including liaising with client services to ensure all the required documentation is received for the accurate and timely processing of payrolls, superannuation, bookkeeping and fee payments. Wendy also makes bill payments for Business Solutions clients.
Senior Project Officer
Tim joined CCSA in early 2015 and provides business planning support to Early Childhood Services, with a focus on demographic analysis. Tim has over thirty years of experience in managing and supporting not for profit services, including twenty years in the early childhood sector with a focus on regional, rural and remote communities. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Management (Community Management).
Robyn’s qualifications include Advanced Certificate in HR Management, Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching, post graduate qualifications in inclusion support, Graduate Diploma in Management and she is currently completing her Cert IV Training and Assessment. Robyn joined CCSA in 2018 with more than 20 years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, as a teacher, Director, TAFE Teacher and area manager. Robyn has also worked within the disability sector as a program and business manager supporting families with a child with autism. In her role as Project Officer, Robyn supports early childhood education services with business and financial planning.
Project ManagerKathleen is a Lawyer by training. Kathleen joined CCSA in 2016 with a background in managing organisational risk, legal and compliance requirements. Having lived in the Northern Territory and raised young children in an isolated area, Kathleen is pleased to be working with rural and remote services under the Start Strong Sector Support Project, reviewing their operations and planning their contribution to local communities over the longer term.
