Meg Mendham

Chief Executive Officer

Meg joined CCSA in May 2014. Meg has a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and has worked in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector for over 25 years, with direct service delivery experience in Long day Care, Multipurpose Centres, Preschools and Mobile Children’s Services as an Early Childhood Teacher and Director. Meg also has extensive experience in governance and management having held various executive positions on State and National boards. As CEO, Meg is responsible for leading the organisation, implementing the Strategic Plan and advocating for members services. In addition to this, Meg participates on steering committees, forums, and reference groups working with both government departments and other peak organisations on the development of regulations, policy and funding models for early childhood services.

Ian Alchin

Services Development Manager

Ian has a B. Ed. M. Comm. (Employment Relations) and is Phd Candidate. Ian Joined CCSA in 2009 and has over 35 years experience in children’s services and has held positions of teacher, Director and CEO, across many different service types and organisations. In his current role, Ian investigates and co-ordinates the development and delivery of projects, consultancies and new business opportunities. He provides organisational support for early childhood  business operations, governance, management, workplace relations and professional practice.

Amanda Marco

Office Coordinator

Amanda joined CCSA in 2011, having previously worked as receptionist, administrator, travel and training coordinator and personal assistant. In her current role, Amanda assist the General Manager and the Senior Management team as well as supporting the Membership and Business Solutions teams. Amanda is responsible for the administration of projects funded by the Department of Education, and is the first point of contact for all our members.

Helena Hyssett

Member Support Officer

Helena has a Bachelor of Arts (Australasian politics and modern European history). Helena joined CCSA in 2005, and has previous experience in accounting and as a volunteer family day care and out of school hours care committee member. In her current role, Helena provides support to CCSA members on the telephone, through written responses to queries, and by developing and maintaining website resources.

Shauna Fayers

Policy Officer

Shauna has a Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma in Personnel Management. Shauna joined CCSA in 2006, with a background in Human Resources Management and policy development in the NSW public sector. Shauna is responsible for the development and maintenance of the CCSA website, and for coordinating our communication with members.

Candace Rozema

Bookkeeper, Business Solutions

Candace has a Cert IV in Accounting and a Diploma of Teaching.  Candace joined CCSA in 2011, with a background in bookkeeping and payroll for small businesses, and prior to this, as a TAFE teacher. Candace is responsible for processing payrolls, superannuation, bookkeeping, bill payments, BAS preparation and submissions, and preparation of financial documents for Business Solutions clients.

Lorraine McCormick

Bookkeeper, Business Solutions

Lorraine has an Advanced Diploma of Business (Accounting) and is a BAS Agent. Lorraine joined CCSA in 2012. Prior to this Lorraine worked as a small business bookkeeper in the construction industry. Lorraine’s duties include bookkeeping, payroll processing, BAS preparation and superannuation reporting.

Samantha Jones

Bookkeeper, Business Solutions

Samantha is currently studying towards her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping. Samantha joined CCSA in 2016 with a background in hospitality and hotel management. Samantha is responsible for payroll processing and bookkeeping, as well as assisting the business Solutions Administration Officer.

Wendy Cook

Administration Officer, Business Solutions

Wendy has a background in administration and accounts payable. Wendy’s role is to support the Business Solutions team by undertaking the full range of administration tasks, including liaising with client services to ensure all the required documentation is received for the accurate and timely processing of payrolls, superannuation, bookkeeping and fee payments. Wendy also makes bill payments for Business Solutions clients.

Tim Keegan

Senior Project Officer

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Management (Community Management). Tim joined CCSA in early 2015, to provide business planning support to NSW Preschools under the Operational Support Program. Tim has thirty years experience in managing and supporting not for profit services, including twenty years in the early childhood sector with a focus of rural and remote communities. Tim works with preschools completing the Operational Support Program on business and financial planning.

Rod Leane

Project Officer

Rod joined CCSA in 2015, with a Master of Business Administration and Cert 4 Training and Assessment. Rod has held many business sector  roles for over 20 years, including a range of management committee positions  in the early childhood and care sector. Rod works directly with preschools under the OSP, assisting organisation’s to sustain and grow, and achieve positive outcomes for communities.

Lorraine Corrigan-Tasker

Project Officer

Lorraine worked for CCSA in 2015 and re-joined in 2016. Lorraine holds a BA (Leisure Studies), Diploma of Community Services (Children’s Services) and Cert IV TAE. Lorraine has worked in the Early Education field for over 25 years in a range of capacities from direct service provision to management and training roles. Lorraine works with preschools to promoting quality and sustainability in service provision.

Candie Field

Administration Officer

Candie has a Certificate IV in Business Administration, and is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Business Accounting. Candie joined CCSA in 2015 with a background in sales and events management, and also has experience in staff rostering and payroll administration. Candie provides administrative support to the Operational Support Program team and the Operations Manager, supports the Business Solutions team, and undertakes reception and general administration duties for the CCSA office.

John Gunn

Operations Manager

John holds a Bachelor of Science and graduate Diploma in Defence Studies, psc. John joined CCSA in 2011, after 24 years as an Army Officer and then working as a Business/Operations manager in various not-for-profit organisations from 2005. John is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of CCSA, including financial management, human resources and industrial relations, and overseeing the operations of Business Solutions and Membership Support. John also undertakes training and consultancies, and represents our members in the Fair Work commission.

Romola Hollywood

Senior Project Officer, Sector Development Program

Romola has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), Master of Philosophy and Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment. Romola worked at CCSA from 1997 to 2007, and rejoined in 2015. Romola is an experienced senior manager specialising in policy development and analysis, strategic planning, community consultation and stakeholder engagement, project management, training and advocacy in the early childhood education and care sector and the community services sector. In her current role, Romola is developing and delivering training for the Sector Development Project.

Kathy Whalan

Member Support Officer

Kathy has extensive experience in Member Support, having commenced with CCSA in 2001. She has been an administration assistant, and along with her member support role, she has been a conference organiser, database manager and website contributor. Kathy knows CCSA’s members well and understands the unique environment that early childhood services must operate within.

Mark Kellett

Members Support Officer

Mark joined CCSA in 2016. After a 20 year career in the State Public Service, Mark chose a new path and began working in early education and care in the Illawarra Region and then in the Coordination Unit of a family day care scheme in the Blue Mountains. Mark has a comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and legislative requirements for early childhood education and care and is pleased to be able to continue supporting services, children and families in his role as a Member Support Officer.

Devina Fraser

Manager, Business Solutions

Devina has a Bachelor of Commerce with Accounting and Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with Honours. Devina joined CCSA in 2008, having previously worked in various bookkeeping positions, including working as a Finance Manger in Sudan and Papua New Guinea for a non government organisation delivering aid. As Business Solutions Manager, Devina plans and manages the workload of the team, liaises with new client services, and develops systems, processes and procedures to improve the delivery of our services to clients.

Scott Boladeras

Bookkeeper, Business Solutions

Scott has a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Social Science and Certificate IV Financial Services. Scott joined CCSA in 2013, with experience as a small business bookkeeper for exporting companies and investment firms. Scott is responsible for payroll processing, bookkeeping, BAS preparation, bill payments, superannuation reporting, and financial analysis.

Theresa Macleay

Bookkeeper, Business Solutions

Theresa joined CCSA in 2009. Theresa has a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Accounting) and is a BAS Agent. Prior to working at CCSA Theresa held positions as a Project Contracts Administrator and small business bookkeeper. In her current role, Theresa is responsible for payroll processing, reconciliation of accounts, preparation of monthly accounts and the preparation and lodgement of BAS reports.

Nicola Weddin

Project Manager

Nicola joined CCSA in 2015 with a Diploma of Children’s Services, Master of Commerce (Marketing) and Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing/Finance). Before joining CCSA Nicola was the Director of a small community early childhood service managing a mixed model of Long Day Care, Occasional Care and OOSH, and prior to this worked in Marketing roles in the private sector. In her current role Nicola supports preschools through the Operational Support Program to maximise their financial sustainability while maintaining quality.

Ross Hughes

Project Officer

Ross has a Bachelor of Education Studies and a Masters in Early Childhood . Ross joined CCSA in 2015 with more than 30 years experience in early childhood and Aboriginal education in service delivery, teacher education and professional support. As an Operational Support Program Project Officer, Ross works with individual preschools around NSW to promote their sustainability and quality.

Gloria Lindsay

Project Officer

Gloria has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching, Diploma of Children’s Services, and Diploma in Management. Gloria joined CCSA in 2015 with 20 years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, most recently as a Director of a community preschool. Gloria has first hand experience supporting preschools through the OSP, having completed the Program while a preschool Director.

Kathleen Wansey

Project Officer

Kathleen is a Lawyer by training. Kathleen joined CCSA in 2016 with a background in managing organisational risk, legal and compliance requirements. Having lived in the Northern Territory and raised young children in an isolated area, Kathleen is pleased to be working with rural and remote services under the OSP, reviewing their operations and planning their contribution to local communities over the longer term.

Debbie Lord

Administration Officer

Debbie joined CCSA in 2016. Debbie has a Business Administration Cert III and previously worked for RailCorp providing support to field staff and management, and in casual administration positions in the public school system. Debbie has experience in general office management, procurement support, records management etc. Debbie provides administration support to the CCSA Operations Manager, Operational Support Program Team as well as well as undertaking general office duties for the CCSA office
