CCSA advocates access to high quality early childhood education and care for all children.

Desired outcomes:

  • high quality early childhood care and education
  • increased community awareness of the value of qualified early childhood professionals
  • increased recognition by government of importance of early childhood education and care services
  • increased resources for management
  • a focus on the rights of children
  • timely and relevant reports, submissions and papers

Strategies:

  • make government aware of our capacity and reach
  • lobby governments and meet regulalry with Ministers
  • create better connections with members to inform our advocacy work
  • ensure CCSA had representation on advisory boards/bodies
  • influence changes in the sector to ensure the best outcomes for children and communitites

Children's Services Forum reports
CCSA has long supported the on-going campaign for the challenges faced by the Preschool sector in NSW, including funding issues. As part of the Children's Services Forum, CCSA has contributed to the reports and submissions compiled to highlight these challenges in an effort to effect change.
