CCSA is governed by a seven-member volunteer board that is elected by CCSA members for a two-year term. CCSA’s day-to-day work is carried out by staff at its Katoomba office.
The staff are led by the Chief Executive Officer. The CEO is supported by the Operations Manager and Services Support Manager.
The Membership and Training Solutions team is made up of a full time Membership and Training Coordinator, and three part-time Membership Support Officers.
The Business Solutions team consists of a part-time Senior Bookkeeper, and four part-time Bookkeeper/Payroll Officers.
A full-time Administration Officer provides administrative support to the board, staff and members.

CCSA is incorporated as an association. Its Rules of Incorporation state that membership is made up of ordinary, associate and life members.
